Skinny Bagels

Ingredients

  • 1 cup nonfat, plain greek yogurt
  • 1 cup self rising flour (or 1 cup all purpose with 1 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1/2 tsp salt).
  • 1 egg
  • Everything but the Bagel Seasoning

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine yogurt and flour and mix until a sticky dough is produced.
  3. Use your hands to combine dough into a ball and knead until it is no longer sticking to your fingers. I used a mixer, but this can be done by hand, using flour to coat the surface and hands.
  4. Separate dough into 4 equal parts and make each into a ring on a cookie sheet.
  5. Brush each bagel with the egg wash and top with EBTB seasoning.
  6. Bake for 23-25 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven and heat oven to 500 degrees.
  8. Bake for another 2-3 minutes.
